As part of Tollerton's Village Event Week, we shall be seeing the welcome return of our old friends the Tollerton Scarecrows. Last year we saw over 60 Worzel Gummidges around the village, who knows how many will appear this year!! Villagers are invited to create their own scarecrow masterpiece to display from Sunday 8th June for 1 week. Judging will take place during that week. We can supply you with a frame and straw if you don't have materials to hand. It only costs £1 for a frame & straw (or just 50p for two bags of straw)
To enter the competition just inform Jo Bemand via tollertonscarecrow@hotmail.co.uk and let him know if you need any materials.
The competition will be Judged by the Chairman and members of the Parish Council and in addition to the 4 category winners, the overall winner will receive the 2008 Michael O'Leary Trophy
